“We left Ruby with Comfy Paws whilst we went on holiday for a week. Ruth sent me photos and updates daily and Ruby had the best time. I had taken Ruby once a week for a morning for three weeks prior to our holiday so I knew she was happy to go there. Ruth walked her daily and Ruby made lots of doggy friends. I think she’s missing them all this morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Comfy Paws again and would thoroughly recommend if you want peace of mind that your dog is being well looked after.”

Luna had her first sleepover this week and she loved it! Luna was super excited to see Ruth after already having a few daycare sessions. We were sent lots of photos everyday of her on walks and having relaxing time too, we could tell that she was truly treated as part of the family while she was there. “We had amazing 18 days with Ruth looking after our 7 months old male Dalmatian 24/7. Super hard job with a young Daligator :-) . Ruth and her family were amazing looking after our puppy. “I left my dog with Ruth for 2 and a half days. She started off with a free introductory walk with herself and her 2 dogs and then booked in for a 4 hour settle session. She had previously sent over all relevant paperwork which was very informative about the care she provides and the routine of the days she'd be caring for my dog. During the time she cared for my dog she went above and beyond to provide loving care even sleeping on the sofa with him when he was unsettled at night. She provided him with tones of exercise and made sure he was well fed. I am thrilled with the service she has provided and the wonderful updates she kept me informed with including lots of pictures of what he'd been up too at various times through the day. I would be more than happy to use comfy paws again. Thank you so much Ruth.”

“Ruth is absolutely amazing! She instantly put my mind at ease completely because she treats Bella as one of her own, she is concerned about every little detail of the care of Bella and is always on the same page as me. She is so thorough about the care she gives and sends me regular photos and updates which I really appreciate. Ruth and her family welcomed Bella into their home and family and I know Bella felt completely comfortable straight away because the first night she stayed over, I was sent photos of her asleep on their laps! Ruth was careful and successful at integrating Bella with her own dogs and despite Bella (and me) being nervous due to previous dog attacks, Ruth’s dogs also accepted her into the family home. I know Ruth is very particular and strict with the combination of dogs she looks after and won’t accept a dog that wouldn’t get along with the dogs she already has booked in and that means a lot because I know Bella will be safe and happy. I don’t worry at all when Bella is with Ruth and I know Bella loves going there because of how she reacts when we pull up outside the house! I cannot recommend Ruth highly enough, she is just fab!”

“Ruth is a god send. Her day care service really is a home from home for Douglas. Ruth is meticulous with her care and slowly introduced us and Douglas to not only herself but her dogs and even members of her family making sure that Douglas was never overwhelmed or distressed by the situation.

She sends us photos and updates throughout the day to show us what fun exciting things Douglas has been up to.

Ruth makes sure that she only has a certain number of dogs at any one time so she can give each dog the care and attention it deserves. She also is very careful to make sure that she doesn’t accept dogs that she thinks will not get on with others.

Ruth has been amazingly accommodating and has taken Douglas at short notice when she’s had a space free.

We love that Douglas is taken in and made a part of the family while he is there. The fact that he can’t wait to get out of the car as we approach her house and runs for her front door just shows how much he loves it there.

The greatest thing about Comfy Paws Canine Care is that when we drop Douglas off with Ruth we only have to worry about missing him.”
